Premium Ginseng Five Treasure Herbal Tea

Ginseng Five Treasure Tea is a traditional Chinese botanical blend of red dates, goji berries, mulberries, polygonatum and maca, finished with ginseng, and sealed into 30 individual pyramid bags. Drop one into a cup, add hot water, and you have a warm, naturally sweet infusion. No measuring, no loose leaves to strain, no cleanup.

What is in the blend

• Red dates (jujube) — the sweetness in the cup, gently caramel and fruity. There is no added sugar in the blend; this is where the flavour comes from.
• Goji berries — a soft tartness, and most of the deep amber red colour.
• Mulberries — dark and jammy, giving the infusion its body.
• Polygonatum — mellow and faintly woody, rounding out the sweeter notes.
• Maca root — a light, malty earthiness underneath.
• Ginseng — the clean, slightly bitter finish the blend is named for.

How to brew

Put one pyramid bag into a cup. Add 200 to 300 ml of hot water, just off the boil. Steep for 5 to 8 minutes and drink it as it is. The same bag works over ice: brew it first, then pour over a full glass of ice for a cold drink in Dubai heat
